An Australian actress, born in Melbourne, Victoria, on October 16, 1982. She began her career by participating in small roles in a number of Australian films and series, such as Evil Never Dies and The Secret Life of Us, until she had the opportunity to participate in the famous soap opera Neighbors, where she got one of the main roles when it was shown between 2005 and 2009. After leaving Neighbors, Black began looking for other opportunities, and in 2009, she co-starred in the independent film Emergence, as well as a short film called The Wake. In 2010, NBC announced that Black would be included in the cast of the new sitcom Outsourced; however, the series was canceled after only one season. Black's following work includes guest appearances on popular series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Royal Pains.
