Victoria Horne, an American actress, was born in New York City, on November 1, 1911. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She donated what she inherited from her husband, actor Jack Oakie, to the University of Southern California, which revived her husband's comedian career. She has written several books about her husband and other artists. Horne is famous for her roles in: The Scarlet Claw (1944), To Each His (1946), and Harvey (1950). She died on October 10, 2003 in Beverly Hills, California.
