She is the daughter of Sandra and Gordon David Schumer and has a younger sister named Kimberly, who is a producer and comedy writer. She has participated in her program Inside Amy Schumer, which she has presented on the American channel Comedy Central since 2013. She also participated in many television series, for which she received several Emmy nominations. She co-starred in her first movie, Trainwreck, which she wrote herself.
