An American writer, producer, and actress, born in Texas. Sue began her acting career at Marietta Marich's Main Street Theater in Houston when she was seven. She then became a member of the musical theater venue Studio VII and studied drama at the University of Houston. In the early 1990s, she moved to Los Angeles to study drama. She worked on a long list of films in the 80s and 90s. In 2004, she relocated to Austin, Texas. Her most important works include Joe (2013), Texas Chainsaw (2013), and Friday Night Lights (2007).
