An American screenwriter, TV producer, and TV writer, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Lizzy Weiss graduated from Duke University in 1992 with a BA in Sociology and Women's Studies. She then continued her education at New York University and received an MA in Communication in 1993. She is best known for Blue Crush (2002), Switched at Birth (2011-2017), and Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019).
