An American actor, born in Akron, Ohio, on October 4, 1901. Caroll Nye graduated from the University of California and worked in silent cinema at a young age and also worked in the theater. Because his mother is a journalist, she helped him to work as a radio reporter, as well as a reporter for the New York Times. Caroll Nye died on March 17, 1974 in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, of kidney failure and a heart attack.He is famous for his roles in Gone With the Wind (1939), and The Trail Blazers (1940).
