A Canadian producer, who grew up in New York City, USA. He studied chemical engineering at the City College of New York, then architecture at the University of Southern California. He worked in the construction sector on the East Coast of the United States, moved to Santa Monica, California, and worked in programming as an intern at RAND Corporation. He worked as a television writer at Universal Studios. He is known for Million Dollar Baby (2004) and The Godfather (1972).
