An American actress. She is the daughter of Sonya Shepherd, who worked on Broadway, and Derek Shepherd. She joined acting lessons at the age of five and continued her training at the Amazing Grace Conservatory, under the supervision of actress Wendy Raquel Robinson. In addition, she joined Debbie Allen's Dance Academy. Her debut was in Little in Common (2011). Among her credits, she is known for Community (2011).
