Salma El-Sharkawy |
An American screenwriter and composer, born in Chicago, United States. He studied at the University of Illinois and at the University of Maryland. He also began writing comedy scripts with his brother, Allan Sherman, and joined the Pacific Theater with the United States Army Signal Corps during World War II. In addition to his writing credits such as Caesar's Hour (1954-1957) and M*A*S*H (1973-1974), he wrote several musical productions. He died in Valencia, California, United States.
