Egyptian writer and radio director, born on February 17, 1928 in Old Cairo, Cairo. He received a diploma in commercial studies in 1947, and a diploma at the Higher Institute of Acting Art, Department of Criticism and Art Research in 1956. He joined the radio in 1957 at the...Read more General Department of Programs. He was delegated to work at Alexandria Radio and was appointed as a director in 1959. In 1968, he was transferred to the Voice of the Arabs Radio, where he held the position of assistant superintendent of cultural programs in 1971. He worked at Sharjah Radio in the United Arab Emirates in 1979. After his return, he took over the position of Director General of Drama Planning at Radio in 1980. He directed several programs, including "With Allah" and Men Around the Prophet (2014). He prepared the one-chapter plays that were presented in the Alexandria Nights program. He died on October 11, 1988.
