• A British actor, born in London, England, United Kingdom, as Charles Sebastian Thomas Cabot. He won a Grammy Award in 1975 and a TV Land Award in 2004 posthumously. Cabot married...Read more Kay (1940-1977), with whom he had three children. He remained with her until he died on August 22, 1977, in North Saanich, British Columbia, Canada, as a result of a stroke. Among his most important works are The Sword in the Stone (1963), Family Affair (1966), The Jungle Book (1967), and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977). Cabot left school at the age of 14 and never returned. He worked in several simple jobs, including a cook and a mechanic, and spent 3 years as a professional wrestler before the outbreak of World War II. He also worked as a chauffeur for British actor Frank Pettingell before becoming an actor. Sebastian was the father of actress Annette Cabot and actor Christopher Cabot.
