Many critics viewed her beauty more than her acting talent. she committed suicide on July 5, 1948 in the Pacific, Palisades, California, USA. Due to taking an overdose of a hypnotic Seconal led to her death at an early age 29 years. Carol Landis' most important works include: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), One Million BC (1940), Topper Returns (1941) and others.
