Dana completed her studies at Rhodes University, where she practiced acting. She received a Golden Globe Award in 1956. She was married to Greg Bautzer...Read more (1956-1981), with whom she had a son, Mark Ragan, before their divorce. Her success in New York was greater than her success in England, where she first worked on television, and in 1955 she signed a seven-year contract with Fox. Among her works are Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Something of Value (1957), and Sink the Bismarck! (1960). She passed away on May 5, 2011, in Ojai, California, USA, of heart failure.
