Turkish director and writer, born on June 19, 1982. He studied Film Studies and Art History at the University of Kent at Canterbury, graduating with honors. In Los Angeles, he attended a short 8-week workshop on filmmaking. His feature debut film was the horror Baskin (2015). He is married to Elif Domanic and they have two children. In 2018, he was chosen as the first director ever to lead a Netflix original series in his homeland; The Protector. In 2020, he co-wrote and directed the series Çıplak. In 2022, he published his first novel, Mehtap in Turkish.
