Dalia Saad |
A Palestinian actress, poet, and activist, born in the city of Nazareth. She is the mother of Palestinian artist Rim Banna and activist Firas Banna. She studied English literature and wrote poetry. She published her first work in the Al-Ittihad newspaper and other local newspapers, and she published more than thirty poems under a pseudonym. She is fond of photography and drawing, as she photographed villages that were destroyed in 1948.
She founded the Women Against Violence Association and is considered one of the pioneers of the feminist movement in Palestine. She participated in the film Cactus, which tells the story of Palestine, evacuated villages, and refugees, as well as the film Mars at Sunrise (2014), in addition to several documentaries.
