A Dutch producer and writer, born in Haarlem, North Holland. He worked as an actor in children's series on radio and television, then worked for AVRO radio, and produced several films inspired by the works of Dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt. He co-produced several works such as The Flying Liftboy (1998), The Boy Who Stopped Talking (1996), Gruesome School Trip (2005), The Amazing Wiplala (2014), and Miss Minoes (2001), which won the Best Feature Film award at the Netherlands Film Festival.
