A Chilean writer, director and actor, born on April 9, 1979 in Santiago, Metropolitan Region, Chile. He is the brother of Valentina Silva, José Miguel Silva, Juan Andrés Silva and Agustín Silva. He graduated from Colegio del Verbo Divino in Las Condes, Santiago. He studied at the Film School in Chile (1998-2000). He is a former member of the hip-hop group Congregación de Hermanos Contemplativos. He won the Sundance Directing Award: World Cinema - Dramatic for Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus. His works include The Maid (2009) and Magic Magic (2013).
