Egyptian radio director, born on June 13, 1929 in Cairo, Qalyubia. He obtained a diploma in commerce in 1952 and a diploma from the Institute of Screenplay and Drama in 1964. He joined Egyptian radio in 1954 as a director at the General Program. He worked as a General Director of Youth Radio in 1981, and head of the central production planning for radio in 1989, and he remained in this position until he retired in 1989. He was interested in enhancing the Arabic language, so he presented the program, "What to Say".
He came up with the idea of the Muhammadan night and was the first to present it to the radio. He also excelled in radio directing by presenting short dramas and series, including You Killed My Dad (1969), Food of the Angels, and Guard Dogs. He also presented musical programs. He received awards in radio drama from the African Union of Broadcasting. He died on March 7, 1998.
