An American actress, born in Moorehouse, Missouri, USA. She was married twice and had 4 children. She is known for Strangers on a Train (1951), Two Lost Worlds (1951), Bewitched (1964), and Peyton Place (1964). She studied piano, accordion, acting, and elocution from the age of seven. She practiced acting in high school at the school theater and practiced baseball. She started her career in Paramount during the forties. She debuted acting in the early fifties. In the sixties, she started writing for television and became involved in human development associations. She passed away on July 6, 2006 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
