A Colombian actor and television director, who began his artistic career in theater at the Diego Hernandez Gallegos school in Barrancabermeja, where, with a group of friends, he formed different theater groups under the direction of Manizales playwright Hugo Naranjo. He studied at the National School of Dramatic Arts in Bogotá, Colombia, then joined the Popular Theater in Bogotá in 1977, and made his screen debut in the telenovela Kounter in 1979, starring Amparo Grisales and Sergio Cabrera. He later won several awards, including the India Catalina Television Award.
