Salma El-Sharkawy |
An American director, born in Delaware, in the United States. After working with director Mack Sennett in 1915, he started his artistic career in Hollywood by going into writing. Later on, he directed Hungry Lions (1919), his debut short film. He started showing his own work on the movie screen more frequently by the early 1920s. He is known for Asleep at the Switch (1923), The Hollywood Kid (1924), The Little Irish Girl (1926), and The Desert Song (1929). |
