An American child actress, born in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles Country, California, USA, on March 21, 1927. She married Lionel Krisel (1947-1968), and they had two children. She is known for The Women (1939), The Philadelphia Story (1940), Born to Sing (1942), and Best Foot Forward (1943). Virginia was born among six siblings to a father who worked as an architect and a mother who was a former opera singer. She began her career at the age of four when she participated in the movie Surrender (1931). She graduated from Hollywood Professional School in 1944, after which she turned to stage performance and had the ability to use her wide-ranging talents in comedic performances. At the end of the forties, she married and had two children, after which she stopped appearing in any movies or series. She died on July 1, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, USA, due to a heart attack affected by rheumatic heart disease since childhood.
