An English actor, born in London, England, United Kingdom, on March 5, 1894, as Charles Henry Pywell Daniel. He married actress Ann Knox. Henry Daniell is known for The Great Dictator (1940), The Philadelphia Story (1940), The Body Snatcher (1945), and Witness for the Prosecution (1957). In 1914, he joined the 2nd Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment in WWI. Daniell began his career in the British theater before moving to Broadway in America in 1921, and he made his onscreen debut in 1929, after which he became one of the most famous villains on the Hollywood screen. Later on, he signed with Warner Bros. and worked with MGM Studios. In the forties, he got starring roles in low-budget films. Henry Daniell died as a result of a heart attack while working in the movie My Beautiful Lady, on October 31, 1963, in Santa Monica, California, USA.
