He attended the same Beijing Opera School as Jackie Chan and Sammo Kam-po Hung, and began a trend towards comedy in martial arts films, continuing to work with characters such as Sammo Hung in Magnificent Butcher (1979) and Yuen Biao in Dreadnaught (1981). |
