An Emirati director, writer, and cinematographer, born in Abu Dhabi. She graduated from the United Arab Emirates University, specializing in mass communication, in 2000. She directed a number of short films, including The Shoes (2006), Noura’s Apple (2010), and Things (2011). In 2009, she won the Most Promising Emirati Director Award at the Dubai International Film Festival. She participated in the Youth Theater Festival in 2007 with the play Portia, for which she won the Best Theater Directing Award. She also participated in 2008 with the play From Where and to Where in the same festival.
