Toqa Hesham |
An Egyptian former football player, born in Al Munirah district, Cairo Governorate, on November 28, 1943. He graduated from the Military College in 1963 and worked as an officer in the armed forces in the Military Intelligence sector. He married Dr. Magy El-Halawani, a professor of media and the former dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University. His father is Captain Yehia Emam, and Hazem Emam is his son. As a kid, Hamadah joined Zamalek SC in the fifties, and in 1958, he played as a forward. He joined the first team in 1960-1961. Hamadah was one of the most prominent players of the Egyptian national team in the sixties, and he retired in 1974. After his retirement, he worked as a commentator on football matches. He was Vice President of The Egyptian Football Association (EFA). Also, he appeared in the movie City's Talk (1964). He died on 9 January 2016, at the age of 72.
