A Canadian director, born on September 14, 1976 in Toronto. She studied English literature and theater at McGill University, graduating in 1999. She earned a BA in Film Directing from Columbia University, graduating in 2001. She also studied in the MFA film program at Columbia University School of the Arts until 2006. She directed the short film Viko (2009), which was shown mainly at film festivals and received widespread acclaim. The Whistleblower (2010) is her feature directorial debut. Her other credits include The Fix (2019) and Legion (2017).
