An American actor, born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He studied at Dartmouth College for one year. Ford was a salesman before becoming an artist. He was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play. He began his artistic career in 1939 on stage, then moved to the cinema field in 1944. Among his artistic works are The Teahouse of the August Moon (1956), The Music Man (1962), and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963). |
