Doris Ione Smith was an American actress and singer, born on September 26, 1932, in Pride, Louisiana, USA. She studied at St. Gerard Catholic High School. Douglas debuted in the movie Career (1959), and she is best known for her roles in The Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1971), The Twilight Zone (1960-1962), Frankie and Johnny (1966), and Checkmate (1961). Douglas died on January 1, 2015, in Zachary, Louisiana, USA.
