American writer and director, born on 10 February 1966. He graduated from Morgan State University and enrolled in the film program at NYU. He won a NAACP award for Best Playwright of the Year for The Fabric of a Man. He also won a New York Literary Award in 2007 for Love in the Nick of Tyme. His works include Baggage Claim (2003) and First Sunday (2008).
