A Brazilian actress and model, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to a Czech father who worked in finance and a housewife mother. Her family moved to the United States when she was four. There she learned English and returned to Brazil seven years later to learn Portuguese. She studied at the British School of Rio de Janeiro, focusing on art. She then began her career as a model before entering the acting field in 1996. Her most notable film works include Dead in the Water (2002), If I Were You (2006), and Xuxa em O Mistério de Feiurinha (2009).
