There she learned English and returned to Brazil seven years later to learn Portuguese. She studied at the British School of Rio de Janeiro, focusing on art. She then began her career as a model before entering the acting field in 1996. Her most notable film works include Dead in the Water (2002), If I Were You (2006), and Xuxa em O Mistério de Feiurinha (2009).
