An American actress, born in Hesse, Germany. Her father was of Irish descent, and her mother was of African and Bahamian descent. She moved to the United States. She began participating in talent shows and performances while her family was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. She later attended Birmingham Community High School in Van Nuys, California, and majored in psychology at Pepperdine University in California. After convincing her family to settle in Los Angeles, she began appearing in commercials and small roles. She gained fame for her role as Tia Landry in the series Sister, Sister alongside her twin sister Tamera from 2006 to 2012. Tia played a medical student in the series The Game. Tia has also been known for television films such as Twitches Too. She met Cory Hardrict while filming Hollywood Horror, and they got married on April 20, 2008. Her first child, Cree Taylor, was born on June 28, 2011. Tia is also a coach for the basketball team.
