A Russian actor and director. He graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in 1963 and has worked since 1964 in the theater, where he played major roles. He is famous for his roles in many films, the most famous of which are Day Watch (2006), Burnt by the Sun 2 (2010), and Efrosinya (2010-2011). He won the State Prize of the RSFSR in 1987 and the Nikolai Cherkasov Prize (2005). |
