An American screenwriter, born in New York in the United States. She is the daughter of journalist Walter Kingsley and film actress Alma Hanlon. She worked as an uncredited writer for a radio series and then collaborated with producer Arthur Freed under a contract with MGM. Her first assignment was to present actress Judy Garland in the movie Girl Crazy (1943), and then she continued her artistic productions. |
