British museum curator and writer, born on 5 September 1966 in Lancashire, UK. He obtained a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of East Anglia and has held the position of Head Curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Anna Wintour Costume Center. His most notable works as a writer include Hard Chic (2012), The Classical Body (2012), and The Surreal Body (2012). He also appeared in Ocean's Eight (2018).
