An American fashion model and actress, born on October 23, 1994, in Kalispell, Montana, and raised in Asheville, North Carolina. She is the daughter of actress Andie McDowell and former fashion model Paul Qualley. Her sister Rainey Qualley is also an actress.
Margaret studied ballet, earned a training period at the American Ballet Theatre, and studied at New York's Professional Children's School. But at the age of 17, she changed her focus to acting and went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 2011.
She first appeared as a fashion model at the age of sixteen during the New York Fashion Week, working with the Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. Her first screen appearance was in 2013 in a small role in the film Palo Alto. After an outstanding performance on HBO's series The Leftovers, she got her first big movie role in The Nice Guys, starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. She is known for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and Fosse/Verdon (2019).
