An Algerian-French producer, director, and politician, born in Valenciennes in 1958 to Algerian parents who immigrated to France. She presented a large number of documentaries with France 2 and Canal+. She also worked in directing advertisements and music videos. Since the third millennium, she has participated in political work, as she was elected to represent the 20th arrondissement of Paris on the Paris city council, and assumed the position of Junior Minister for French Nationals Abroad and Relations with La Francophonie in 2012. Her works include Inch'Allah dimanche.
