A Canadian director, born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He studied at the University of Toronto, worked as a journalist and then a writer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, then moved to England and worked with the BBC. He became the youngest producer and director in the BBC Drama Department at the age of twenty-six. Among his works are City on Fire, Say Hello to Yesterday, and A Voyage Round My Father. He died on October 12, 2024.
