An American actor, born in Manhattan, New York, USA. He is the son of Charles Martin, a cartoonist for The New Yorker magazine, and his mother is the artist Florence Taylor. He began acting at the age of thirteen and attended The Putney School, where he continued his interest in theater. He discovered his passion for sports at Columbia University. After graduating, he worked for years at The New York Times and participated in many artistic works, such as the movie Karate Warrior in 1987 and the movie Twin Sitters in 1994.
