An American author and filmmaker, born in Newport, Rhode Island, USA, and grew up in Huntington, New York State. He graduated from Cornell University in 1967 with a major in political science, then studied cinema in 1968. He joined the US Navy to serve in the Vietnam War, but was disabled by a training injury. He wrote a number of novels. He's known for The Congressman (2016). |
