An American-Canadian physicist, astronomer, and producer, who served as a professor at the ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration in Arizona, USA, and is a former professor at Yale University and Case Western Reserve University. He founded a project at the University of Arizona to answer fundamental questions about the universe, before being fired from his position. He has written several books, including The Physics of Star Trek in 1995 and A Universe from Nothing in 2012.
