An Indian actor and model, born and raised in the Indian state of Bihar. He married actress Debina Bonnerjee in 2011. He is a professional dancer and won the first prize in the dance program Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in the fifth season in 2012, and his dance partner was Indian dancer Shampa Sonthalia. He began his acting career in 2005, when he appeared in the series Koi Aap Sa, but his real breakthrough was in the series Ramayan (2008). He also starred in the series Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi.
