An American stage, television, and film actor, born in Nicholls, New York, USA. He was married twice and had four children. William Prince's most notable works include: Cyrano de Bergerac (1950), The Stepford Wives (1975), Spies Like Us (1985), and Network (1976). William is known for his television work and for portraying villains in films. He began his theatrical career while a student at Cornell University, working with several touring theater companies and participating in Shakespearean plays. He also worked as a child photographer and radio announcer in New York. During the 1940s, he worked in film and on Broadway, and in 1947, he became a founding member of the Actors Studio. During the 1950s, he worked primarily in television. William Prince died in Tarrytown, New York, USA, on October 8, 1996, at the age of 83.
