An Indonesian director, producer and screenwriter, born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. He is known for his horror and action films. He owns the film production company Merah Production. He was educated at the School of Visual Arts in Australia. He began his career as a freelance storyboard artist and photographer, then made short films. In 2009, he made Macabre, his first feature film in collaboration with Indonesian director Kimo Stamboel, and they subsequently made a number of feature films together. He won many awards from international and local film festivals. He married Indonesian actress and model Sigi Wimala in 2009. His credits include Killers, Nobody 2, and V/H/S/2.
