An Irish actor, born in Durban, South Africa. He appeared in numerous films and television productions and had a career spanning more than 70 years. He studied law at University College Dublin, then joined the Abbey Theatre. He appeared as a child in Knocknagow (1918). He is known for All Over the Town (1949), The Secret of Convict Lake (1951), Saadia (1953), and The March Hare (1956). He died on October 7, 1993. |
