An Italian director and writer, born in Palermo, Italy. In 1986, he began his artistic career with a play adapted from an unpublished work by Italian author Italo Calvino. He was assigned by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2002 to direct the documentary Il cineasta e il labirinto, which was about filmmaker Francesco Rosi. He is also known for Viaggio segreto (2006), and The Hidden Child (2021). |
