An American director and actor, born in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He studied at the Children's Art School in New York, where he studied with acting coach Sanford Meisner. While his directorial debut was in the film (Come Back, Little Sheba) in 1952. He also presented the film (The Teahouse of the August Moon) in 1956, the film (The Last Angry Man) in 1959, and the film (BUtterfield 8) in 1960. |
