He studied German language and theatrical studies at the Institute of Theatre Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin after completing his high school education. He served as a faculty assistant there for six years following the completion of his studies. He made his acting debut at the Maxim Gorki Theater. He also participated in a number of films. His credits include Besuch bei Van Gogh (1985) and Johannes Kepler (1974). |
