Iranian photographer, writer, and director, born on January 28, 1954 in Urmia, Iran. He began his artistic career in 1968 as a photographer, and in 1978, he started directing non-fiction films. He is the founding director of the Annual Image Visual Arts Festival and Tassvir Film Festival. He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Tassvir Magazine. He is known for The White Station (1999) and The Art of Killing (2003). |
